Entanglement - First Person Puzzler
A downloadable game for Windows
Entanglement is a puzzle game made in only 3 hours! It takes a basic mechanic (moving boxes) and makes a fun and enjoyable puzzle game out of it. Each button will activate a doorway, but you need to figure out which doorways to trigger and in what order.
Gameplay :
There's not much to say about the gameplay! It's simple, but works extremely well. Since that game was made in 3 hours, the main goal of the game was to take a simple concept and idea and to make it more complex. For example when I created the doors, I then realised I could use them as a bridge and it kind of worked like an anti door - Doors you have to push the button to open but bridges you must have the button not pressed for it to function as a bridge.
The game is a short demo and only lasts around 10 - 20 minutes from start to finish with multiple puzzles that require thought and skill to complete.
Simple controls can create such a thoughtful game; entanglement requires you to just press the 2 buttons on your mouse to manipulate the environment around you to get the changes you need : push and pull boxes onto buttons; open doors and activate bridges; solve complex puzzles and more!
Controls :
- WASD - Movement
- Space - Jump
- Shift - Sprint
- R - Reset Boxes
- Left / Right - Pull / Push boxes
Can you make it to the end?
Feel free to make and share content of this game, it would be greatly appreciated; and share you opinions in the comments section!

nice, thats pretty quick!
i loved the game i played it with no info besides the images on this page i took me 5min to complete i will be uploading a video to my youtube channel (i played another game in the video to) i would love to see this as a more fleshed out game. mabey make more levels and add a new set of buttons (in another color) that act as logic gates there was the one level that seemed like you had used an and gate.
oh and i also found a short cut at the end my play through only took 4 and a half minutes
Thanks for the nice comment, the game is doing better than I hoped and I do plan do create a longer and fuller version of the game. I love your idea of the logic gates, as it would work very well witb this style of game play.
no problem it was a really fun game and i can't wait for a longer version of the game.
I enjoyed that game, didn't know about @3hrgamejam #3hGJ but I did find a little shortcut towards the end :P 5/5.

thanks so much for reviewing the game, that shortcut I never even thought about that shortcut thing, but that last puzzle can be frustrating anyway. 3 hour thing was something me and my friend (Trollbae) did for fun
